Kottayam, Alleppey and Varkala Tour Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL & ALLEPPEY + TRANSFER TO VAGAMON

Morning pickup from Coimbatore Railway Station. After a short refresh, visit the famous Eachanari Vinayagar Temple. Then proceed directly to Alleppey (approx. 5 hours drive) for an unforgettable houseboat day cruise through Kerala’s scenic backwaters. Board your Deluxe Sharing Houseboat at 1:00 PM. Enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a traditional Kerala lunch (includes 2 non veg dishes), and tea with snacks in the evening. Cruise ends at 6:00 PM. After the cruise, proceed to Vagamon (approx. 4 hours) for an overnight stay at a resort amidst the cool climate and lush greenery.

Day 2

FULL DAY VAGAMON SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Vagamon. Visit the Pine Forest, Vagamon Meadows, Kurisumala Ashram, Thangalpara, Murugan Mala, and Marmala Waterfalls (if accessible). You can also opt for paragliding (subject to availability and weather conditions). Spend a relaxing evening at the resort. Overnight stay in Vagamon.

Day 3

VAGAMON TO VARKALA TRANSFER & SIGHTSEEING

Post breakfast, check out from Vagamon and drive to Varkala (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, explore Varkala Cliff, Papanasam Beach, and Janardanaswamy Temple. Enjoy the beachside cafes and the serene atmosphere. Overnight stay in Varkala.

Day 4

JATAYU EARTH'S CENTER EXCURSION & VARKALA LEISURE

After breakfast, proceed to Jatayu Earth’s Center (approx. 1 hour drive). Explore the world’s largest bird sculpture, take a cable car ride, and enjoy optional adventure activities like ziplining or rock climbing. Return to Varkala for an evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Varkala.

Day 5

VARKALA TO TENKASI, SRIVILLIPUTHUR & TRAVEL TO CHENNAI

Early morning checkout from Varkala. Proceed to Tenkasi to visit the famous Kasi Viswanathar Temple. Continue to Srivilliputhur Andal Temple, one of the revered 108 Divya Desams. If time permits, visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. Begin the overnight journey to Chennai.
